Amazon manager Jeff Bezos patented airbags for a phone

The device contains a sensor which denotes that the phone is falling and phone airbags which are activated before the fall. At the same time there gas streams in the phone which can make the falling slower or turn the phone on the other side. Jeff Bezos supposes, that accelerometer and laser distance device can be used to denote dangerous situations. The latter will tell the falling speed.
