Unlocked Nexus One

Famous operation system of the Android family cracker known with the nickname Cyanogen has released an update for the samartphone Nexus One firmware which completely extended its functionality. Now the mobile device from Google is able to cope with multiple simultaneous touches (multitouch) just like Apple iPhone.

Cyanogen presented his update right after Google officially declared operational system Android 2.1, on which basis Unlocked Nexus One functions, open. The "multitouch" function gives the user the possibility to work with sensor display simultaneously with two and more fingers. This can be useful for stretching and minimizing the frames, image size minimizing and maximizing and other similar actions. In the Google smartphone this function was not completely implemented and some experts suppose that this was done by Apple request.

 It should be noted that before Cyanogen has already introduced in Unlocked Nexus One SSH, USB and other advanced functions support. All these modifications are installed “on top" of the official firmware. However the real Unlocked Nexus One is yet to come – in the nearest future the hacker promises to release full modified firmware.
