Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for LG will appear in the second semester of 2012

The LG made clear it's plans regarding the OS upgrade of the Optimus smart phone to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The first models to be upgraded are going to be the LG Optimus LTE, LG Prada 3.0, LG Optimus 2X, LG Optimus Sol, LG myTouch Q and LG Eclipse - it will happen in the second semester of the 2012. Afterwards in the third semester the company will pass to LG Optimus 3D, LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus Big, LG Optimus Q2 and LG Optimus EX models. The company representatives say that the timelines of the upgrade will depend on the carriers and countries, so there may be some deviations.

So far the LG is behind other manufacturers who have promised the Android 4.0 in the beginning of the 2012.
