Toshiba is planning to release a number of Toshiba smartphones with sensor displays

Japanese Corporation Toshiba is going to release under its brand some Toshiba smartphones equipped with sensor displays. Besides earlier announced device TG01 which will appear on sale this summer, at the end of 2009 Toshiba will release Toshiba smartphone TG02. This is mentioned in the Japanese producer documentation that became available to journalists.

Toshiba TG02 will function under the operational system Windows Mobile 6.5 and will have a waterproof corpus. The Toshiba smartphone will be equipped with 4,1 inches sensor display, GPS receiver and wireless Wi-Fi controller. The novelty will work with third generation nets.

Another Toshiba smartphone of the Japanese Corporation is TG03, which will remind of TG02 by its technical features with the exception of waterproof corpus, five mega pixel camera and six channels acoustic system. Toshiba, as it is expected, will present two more devices: K01 similar to TG01 with sliding QWERTY keypad and 3,2 mega pixel photo camera and K02 with 3,5 inches sensor display and bending corpus similar to notebook.

Finally the index name of one more new smartphone became known – L01. This device is oriented to work with Internet and will receive 7 inches sensor display and wireless keypad.

If the Japanese corporation will release all these Toshiba smartphones, this will be viewed as the producer strategy change or an attempt to present models for different segments. The first smartphone TG01 with ultrathin corpus and central processor Qualcomm is viewed as Apple iPhone rival.
