The Samsung Electronics had officially announced new entries in the Galaxy line smart phones with 2 sim cards: GALAXY Y DUOS and GALAXY Y Pro DUOS.

According to Nokia Conversations, the Symbian era is over. The company had officialy changed the name of it's microsoft OS Nokia Belle, totaly resigning from  „Symbian". Even though, frankly speaking, it is still the same OS.

HTC is testing smart phones without the Apple technologies

The HTC is already testing new smart phone models, where is not applied the patented Apple technology. According to Reuters, that is the statement made by the chief of the Taiwanese corporation Peter Chou. Still the head of the corporation did not offer any details about the technical features or any other details about the devices.

The north American carrier Cricket Communications that offers communication services in the CDMA standard, announced the beginning of the Huawei Mercury smart phone for it's customers.

The Europeans are not interested in Nokia smart phones according to an opinion poll

The Exane BNP Paribas analysts questioned 1300 Europeans in countries where WP Nokia smart phones are available. Among the respondents there 456 person who plan to buy a smart phone in the following month, as it turned out just 10 out of them (2.2 %) want a Nokia Lumia 800 or Lumia 710, the WMPoweruser  states.

Rumors: Dual SIM Samsung Galaxy Y Pro

The Samsung Galaxy Y has a "brother" - Samsung Galaxy Y Pro. The device has a QWERTY keypad as we can conclude from the device name. it has to be mentioned that it looks like that the Y Pro most likely will have another relative - Samsung Galaxy Y Pro DUOS, equipped with 2 sim card slots.

The Nokia is preparing the LTE version of the Lumia 800 smart phone 

            According to the CNET information, the Nokia is testing the LTE version for the Lumia 800 smart phone, for the American carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless.

Even though the existing Windows Phone does not support  the LTE technology yet, the manufacturer is testing the device. If it is true, than there shall be designed a new Windows Phone version for the LTE version, or there are applied the Windows Phone updates, that were not made public by the Microsoft yet.

There are new details about the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD smart phone - the GSMArena received the given info by means of e-mail and made it public. There already were published different rumors about the device. As it is assumed it is the future flagman device that is also known as Sony Ericsson Nozomi or LT26i, the device will make its' appearance on the market in the beginning of the next year while its' official announce is expected on the CES 2012 exhibition that will take place at the beginning of January.

Samsung U380 - QWERTY slider for Verizon

It's been a while since there were no announces of side sliders with a QWERTY keypad. Moreover that is not a smart phone. It is true that Samsung SCH-U380 represents a purely academic interest, for it is designed for Verizon.

The ZTE intends to decrease the differences between the budgetary and the more expensive Android smart phones. The ZTE V881 Blade+ model that was recently certified will be available in China for about 160$. The device is considered to be an upgrade of the model that was presented the past year, but it's technical features are much closer to the multimedia Android smart phones, than to the category of budgetary phones.

The Chinese company Lenovo announced the 5 inches Android device - LePad 2005, equipped with a 5 inches sensory display and a 1.2 GgHz dual core processor.

The Alcatel official web page presents two almost similar Android smart phones - Alcatel One Touch 918 and Alcatel One Touch 918 D. Both run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread basis, both of them have the 3.2 inches TFT display with the 320x480 pixels resolution, support the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth communications, GPS, FM-radio, are equipped  with micro SD card slots.

The North American mobile operator, Cricket Communications announced an affordable Android smart phone - ZTE Chorus that supports the unlimited Muve Music service and the SRS WOW HD audio technology.

The Samsung are a little late with their bada smart phone - it was forecasted for October. Even though it happened - the Samsung Wave 3 that works on the bada 2.0 OS is now on the market, so far just on the French market.

At present the company is negotiating with one of the biggest European telecommunication company, Reuters states. Most probably it is a mobile operator in whose shops the Panasonic smart phones will be available.
