Samsung i7500

The first Google phone of the Samsung Company - Samsung i7500 was officially announced.

The rumors about the preparation  of the first smartphone produced by Korean Corporation on the base of operational system Android found an official support in recently published Samsung Electronics Co press-release.

Having presented Samsung i7500, Samsung became the first of the three leading companies producing mobile phone which announced Android phone, as it is mentioned in the press-release.

As it was expected, smartphone Samsung i7500 has many functions which will undoubtedly be a positive thing for its future popularity (with an acceptable price of course).

Press-release informs about the GSM/EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MH) and HSDPA 7,2 Mbit/sec/HSUPA 5,76 Mbit/sec (900/1700/2100 MH) nets support and brighter than in G1 smartphone 3,2 inches sensor AMOLED display with resolution HVGA(320x480 pixels), 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash and also Android 1,5 (Cupcake) operational system. Google phone i7500 is equipped with GPS receiver, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi modules, USB 2.0 port, audio input of 3,5 mm. The memory of 8 GB can be enlarged with the help of microSD slot up to 40 GB.

Samsung i7500 supports widely spread video (MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV), audio formats (MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, RA) and also practically all Google Company services. The dimensions of the smartphone are 115x56x11,9 mm. The company planned Samsung i7500 release start in most countries for June of this year.
