Samsung released mobile phone with solar battery - Samsung E1107 Crest Solar

The South Korean Corporation  Samsung presented on the market its first mobile phone which can charge from the solar battery. The novelty called Samsung E1107 Crest Solar is a low budget monoblock oriented at the developing countries markets.

According to the producer, after one hour charging under the sun the phone can work additional 5-10 minutes in the talk regime. At the same time the battery of 800 mAc can be charged in a regular way. Samsung E1107 Crest Solar is equipped with 1,52 inches display with resolution 128x128 pixels and reflecting 65 thousand colors, Fm radio and built in flash. The device  Samsung E1107 supports two diapasons of mobile nets GSM standard: 900 and 1800 MH.

The new phone will appeared on sale starting with June in South Asia, Europe and Latin America. Its price is about 60 US dollars.
